The 76ers expected Rodney Carney to be a big key off of the bench for them this season but he’s having a sophomore slump. Carney is only shooting 37.5% from the floor and 20.7% from three point range and he will start losing playing time if he doesn’t start to shoot better soon. Carney has played in 24 games this season for the Sixers and he’s averaging 14.0 minutes, 5.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.

For the season, Giricek has played in 24 games and he has averaged 12.8 minutes, 4.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. Giricek is a solid player and a good shooter but he was in Jerry Sloan’s Dog House for being soft. The Sixers hope he can give them solid production off of the bench.
