The rookies are looking pretty solid for the Philadelphia 76ers so far this year

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Rookie Report by admin on Thursday 12 January 2012 at 12:10 am

The 76ers have to like what they are seeing out of 21-year old center Nikola Vujecic and 22-year old forward Lavoy Allen so far this year.  Vujecic has played in 7 games (0 starts) so far this year for the Sixers and he is averaging 13.7 minutes, 5.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.  He is also shooting 63.3% from the floor (19 of 30 from the floor) so far this year.  He will eventually really start pushing Spencer Hawes for minutes as long as he keeps up the good work.  Lavoy Allen hasn’t had much of a chance to show what he can do yet as he is sitting near the end of the bench.  He has played in 2 games (0 starts) for the 76ers so far this year and he is averaging 4.5 minutes, 2.5 points, 1.0 rebound and 1.0 steal per game so far this year.
