Backup guard Royal Ivey has declined his player option for the 2009-2010 seasons with the Sixers becoming a unrestricted free agent. Ivey played in 71 games (0 starts) for the 76ers last season and he averaged 12.1 minutes, 3.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. The 76ers won’t miss Ivey one bit as they should be able to find another backup guard who is more productive than him.
