The 76ers nipped the Pistons in Detroit on Wednesday Night. Andre Iguodala only shot 6 for 22 from the floor but he still led the way for the Sixers with 22 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Rodney Carney only played 22 minutes in this game but he still scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Reggie Evans pitched in with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 2 steals. The 76ers are now 31-34 on the season.

Boston Celtics 100, Philadelphia 76ers 86

The 76ers only shot 31.6% from the floor on Monday Night and it killed them in this game. Andre Miller led the way for the Sixers with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Andre Iguodala also had a solid game as he finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Jason Smith pitched in with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in only 17 minutes off the bench. The 76ers are now 30-34 on the season.

The 76ers shot 60.3% from the floor last Sunday as they destroyed the Bucks in Milwaukee. Thaddeus Young led the way for the Sixers with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Samuel Dalembert was tough near the basket as he finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists. Andre Miller had a solid game running the offense as he finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals. The 76ers are now 30-33 on the season.

The 76ers blasted the Sonics 56-31 in the 2nd half to roll on to a easy win. The 76ers also shot 56.2% from the floor and outrebounded the Sonics 43-35. Samuel Dalembert led the way for the Sixers with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Andre Iguodala also had a solid game as he finished with 18 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists. Thaddeus Young only played 27 minutes but he finished with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. The 76ers are now 29-33 on the season.

The 76ers shot an amazing 59% last night against the Clippers and that was the biggest reason for the victory. Andre Iguodala led the way for the Sixers with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Louis Williams had a solid game off the bench with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists. Thaddeus Young and Willie Green each pitched in with 13 points apiece. The 76ers are now 28-33 on the season.

The Philadelphia 76ers waive Gordan Giricek

The Sixers have waived guard Gordan Giricek. Giricek played in 12 games for the 76ers after he was acquired for Kyle Korver and he averaged 9.2 minutes, 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. He only shot 31.7% from the floor and shooting is his only real skill so the Sixers told him to get out of Dodge.

Thaddeus Young and Jason Smith look like they are going to help the 76ers for a long, long time. Young has played in 52 games (13 starts) this season for the Sixers and he is averaging 18.7 minutes, 7.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. Young has shot 52.4% from the floor and 69.6% from the free throw line this season. Look for his numbers to improve now that he’s getting more playing time. 7-foot tall Jason Smith has been a solid reserve this season for the 76ers. He has played in 55 games (1 start) this season for the 76ers and he is averaging 15.2 minutes, 4.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. He has made 45.4% of his shots from the floor so far this season and he is shooting only 63.6% from the free throw line. The Sixers other rookie (Herbert Hill) has missed all of his rookie season thus far due to injury.

The Sixers shocked the Suns last night in Phoenix as they shot 56.7% from the floor to win the game. Andre Iguodala led the way for the Sixers with 32 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Andre Miller was outstanding in leading the offense with 25 points, 4 rebounds, 12 assists and 3 steals. Willie Green pitched in with 17 points and 3 rebounds. The 76ers are now 27-33 on the season.

Willie Green (17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals) and Louis Williams (17 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists) each had solid games on Friday Night for the 76ers. The 76ers are now 26-33 on the season.
